On-Campus Summer Program

Ryerson University Campus (Toronto)
Ryerson University is one of Toronto's downtown universities. It is located in the heart of downtown and is in walking distance to City Hall, Museums, CN Tower and shopping. It has libraries, sports facilities, restaurants, athletic centres and computer facilities.

Students
Coming from all over the world, our students are immersed in an exciting international atmosphere where they have excellent opportunities to meet and interact with other international students. They also learn about Canadian culture, an essential part of their language learning experience. We have received strong interest in this program from many countries around the world, and it is our policy to maintain a good nationality mix with all of our programs.

Age Groups
Students will be separated into separate classes according to their age. The three groups will not be integrated into the same classes. Youth under 13 years old will be accompanied by a Eurocentres representative or adult at all times.

• Youth: 9-13 years of age
• Teens: 13-16 years of age
• Young Adults: 16-24 years of age

Winter Activities in Toronto

Students will have three exciting afternoon activities each week showcasing Toronto as an active winter wonderland. Sample activities include: cross-country skiing, ice skating, indoor swimming, tobogganing, ice carving, bowling, visiting cultural events and much more.

Canada Adventure Tour  

On-Campus Summer Program

Overview
The On-Campus Summer Program is a combination of both English classes and exciting afternoon and evening activities every day from Monday to Friday. There are also weekend outings and events. Students can choose between university residence and homestay accommodations. They will be divided into groups based on age.

University of British Columbia Campus (Vancouver)
The University of British Columbia, with an international reputation for academic excellence and adjacent to the 763-hectare Pacific Spirit Park, is only a 30-minute journey from the heart of downtown. An impressive range of facilities such as an aquatic centre, libraries, sports fields, winter sports centre, shops, restaurants, banks, gymnasiums, and computer labs add to its importance as a focal point on Vancouver's west side.

Winter Language Holiday

Overview
These courses provide students with the opportunity to study English in our Basic Course while experiencing great Canadian winter activities. The program fees include full-board homestay and airport reception.

Ski / Snowboard in Vancouver
Students will have one full-day and one half day of skiing/snowboarding each week at one of British Columbia's ski resorts, including world famous Whistler Mountain, future home to the 2010 Winter Olympic Alpine and Nordic events.

Program Notes
1.      Ski and Snowboard equipment and clothing is not included in the program price. Students can either bring their own equipment or rent equipment on the mountain or in Vancouver. Ski and Snowboard equipment can be rented for approximately $30-45 per day.

2.      Medical Insurance is mandatory for this program and students who do not have insurance can purchase it through the school (Student Guard) for $1.85 per day.

3.      Students who are beginner skiers or snowboarders are required to take lessons. These lessons will be arranged by the school, but the student is responsible for the costs.

Canada Adventure Tour

Overview
This one-week program offers students an exciting opportunity to participate in an adventure tour expedition throughout British Columbia while developing comprehensive English language skills. This course can be taken in conjunction with any Eurocentres program and is also available in a package combined with our ESL Intensive Course.

The Adventure Tour includes transportation, English projects, meals, and accommodations and a guide. The adventure activities are optional and the price of these activities varies. The program structure allows the student to custom design their course to best meet their needs. After registering for this program, students will be provided with an activities information sheet including the activities available and their related fees.

Day 1 Vancouver to Shuswap Lake
Start time is 8:45 am on Saturday. Day's Highlights include: Bridal Veil Falls, Hope, Alexandra Bridge, Hell's Gate, Lytton, Kamloops, Shuswap Lake

Day 2 Shuswap Lake to Banff
Day's Highlights include: Craigellachie (Monashee Mountains), Rogers Pass (Selkirk Mountain), Emerald Lake, Banff

Day 3 Banff to Jasper
Day's Highlights include: Lake Louise (Victoria Glacier), The Icefields Parkway, Big Bend Lookout, Columbia Icefield (Athabasca Glacier), Tangle Falls, Jasper Townsite

Day 4 Jasper to Banff
Day's Highlights include: Athabasca Falls, Goat Viewpoint, Stutfield Glacier, Peyto Lake, Moraine Lake, Banff

Day 5 Banff to Revelstoke
Day's Highlights include: Johnston Canyon, Wildlife, Takakkaw Falls, Natural Bridge, Wolf Centre

Day 6 Revelstoke to Kelowna
Day's Highlights include: Sicamous, Enderby, Kalamalka Lake, Okanagan Lake, Kelowna

Day 7 Kelowna to Victoria
Day's Highlights include: Okanagan Lake Floating Bridge, Othello Tunnels, Kawkawa Lake, Fraser Valley, Abbotsford. Ferry tour through Active Pass on the way to Victoria.

Day 8 Sightseeing/Whale-watching in Victoria
Day's Highlights include: Whale-watching, sightseeing in downtown Victoria

Return to Vancouver and end of tour.

Location
Group and Customized Programs are available in Toronto.

Options/Modifications
We would be happy to modify this program to meet any specific needs for your group. This could include such options as residence accommodations, English lesson upgrade to Intensive (25 lessons per week), weekend activities, and any other modifications that you may require.

English Plus Professional Training

Basic, Intensive, or Super-Intensive English course plus Professional Training at a Eurocentres Canada partner school.

English Plus Work Experience / Internship

Basic, Intensive, or Super-Intensive English course plus a work internship with a Canadian company.

Super-Intensive Course - Business English

30 lessons per week including Business English Elective (Minimum 12 week course required for Business English Diploma).

Intensive Course - Business English

25 lessons per week including Business English Elective (Minimum 12 week course required for Business English Diploma).
