An impressive range of facilities such as an aquatic centre, libraries, sports fields, winter sports centre, shops, restaurants, banks, gymnasiums, and computer labs add to its importance as a focal point on Vancouver's west side.

English Lessons Curriculum
Students will be provided with quality English instruction based on our internationally acclaimed ESL curriculum. Students will receive training in our ESL program where they will take classes designed to improve their English fluency. Through these classes students will develop communication skills to assist them in a wide variety of English language situations. There is a maximum 15 students per class to ensure a fun, dynamic learning environment while allowing for strong teacher-student interaction. All course material is included in the program fee.
There is a strong emphasis on building fluency in oral skills, with daily speaking practice and regular discussions and communicative activities. Written skills are developed as a preparation and follow-up to oral practice. By using the skills learned in the previous two classes, students can strengthen their use of language through measured growth and improvement.
With grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, students will study and practice the way it is used in context and develop their vocabulary skills. The focus will be on giving students an accurate grasp of appropriate language at their level to be able to express what they want effectively.
Students in the Residence Program will take their meals in the Totem Park Cafeteria. Lunches will be a box lunch (for example: sandwich, apple, cookie, and drink). Students in the Homestay Program will eat breakfast and dinner at their homestay home and they will be given the opportunity to prepare their own bag lunches.
On weekday afternoons, students take part in a range of recreational, cultural and sightseeing activities, both on and off campus including arts & crafts, basketball, swimming, as well as day trips around the city.
