Study Permit
Students who are planning to study for more than 6 months must apply for Study Permit. This must be done outside of Canada. The Authorization process takes from a few weeks to 3 months (it varies amongst countries). Please check with the Canadian Embassy or Consulate in your country for application procedures.

Visitor's Visa
Students planning to study in Canada in a full time or part time ESL program at Eurocentres Canada for up to 6 months may do so on a Visitor's Visa. Students from certain countries can receive Visitor's status for up to 6 months at the port of entry into Canada.
Working Holiday Visa
Students from countries participating in the Working Holiday Visa System are eligible to study in Canada in a full time or part time ESL program at Eurocentres Canada for up to 6 months. Application for Working Holiday Visas can be made at Canadian Embassies in participating countries. Refer to the Visitor's Visa section for application procedures.
Study Permit Extensions
It is possible for students to extend their Visas while they are in Canada. Our counselors will provide application packages and advice to any students interested in extending their Visas inside Canada.
Medical Insurance
All students studying in any Eurocentres Canada program must have adequate medical coverage for their study period. Medical insurance is available through Eurocentres Canada.
Other Visas
Students wishing to travel to the United States should obtain the necessary visa prior to their arrival in Canada. Information on entry requirements for the United States can be obtained from the US Embassy or Consulate in your country.
Parental / Legal Guardian Consent Form (Require for students under 18 years of age)
A signed Parental / Legal Guardian Consent Form is required for all students under the age of 18 years. This form will be sent at the time the student's application is received and must be returned to the school prior to the student's arrival.

REFUND POLICY
1. The Enrollment Fee, $200 Accommodation Fee and Internship Placement Fee are non-refundable.
2. All tuition and accommodation fees will be refunded if a Study Permit is denied, provided that the student gives notice within reasonable time, as per the Eurocentres Canada Study Permit Application Condition, and provides the school with written notification from Immigration Canada of this decision prior to the program commencement.
3. If a student withdraws from their course, in writing, 14 days prior to the start of their course, all tuition fees will be refunded.
4. If a student withdraws from their course, in writing, less than 14 days prior to the start of their course, but no later than 1:00 PM on the last Friday before the commencement of the course, all tuition fees will be refunded except for tuition fees for one week.
5. If a student fails to show up for their course or withdraws after 1:00 PM on the last Friday before the commencement of the course, no tuition fees will be refunded.
6. For the On-Campus Summer Program, all fees will be refunded if the course is canceled, in writing, 30 days prior to the start of the course. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to start of the course.
7. Students may cancel their accommodations by providing two weeks notification, in writing. In such cases, all unused accommodation fees will be refunded. If a student cancels their accommodations, in writing, with less then two weeks notice all unused accommodation fees will be refunded except for the two week notification period.
8. The Airport Reception fee will be refunded if the student cancels this service, in writing, at least 7 days prior to their scheduled arrival date.
9. There will be a $110 administration fee charged for any changes to course or accommodation type or duration, including cancellations.
10. A student will be dismissed from their course and/or accommodations if they violate Canadian law and/or the Eurocentres Canada Rules & Regulations. No refunds will be issued in the case of dismissal.
11. In the event that all fees are not received as a result of items such as bank wire charges etc., the outstanding fees due will be reduced from tuition fees.
12. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receiving written notice and only upon presentation of the original corresponding receipt. If a representative or agent has registered the student, the refund will be sent to the representative or agent.
13. Refunds are normally issued by check. Refunds issued by other methods are subject to a service charge.
Eurocentres Canada: Protection of Personal Information and Privacy Code
Students, Agents & Homestay Families
Eurocentres Canada (including Eurocentres Vancouver and Eurocentres Toronto) developed our Protection of Personal Information and Privacy Code (herein referred to as the "Privacy Code") based on the requirements of the Canadian Standards Association's Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information which was incorporated into the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). The Privacy Code was developed to protect the privacy and personal information of the students, agents and homestay families of Eurocentres Canada (herein referred to as the "Client").
Eurocentres Canada is dedicated to protecting the personal information of our Clients in our control. We have developed policies and procedures designed to protect personal information and have designated a Privacy Officer to ensure the compliance of these policies and procedures. Eurocentres Canada also has a strong commitment to ensure that the appropriate security measures are exercised when transmitting personal information both physically and electronically.
Eurocentres Canada collects personal information from our Clients for the following purposes:
Eurocentres Canada does not collect personal information for purposes of dissemination to third parties without express consent of the Client.
Eurocentres Canada will always obtain consent from our Clients before collecting or sharing personal information. Consent can be obtained both in written form (the signing of forms and contracts) and verbally. Eurocentres Canada does not share information to third parties without the express consent of the Client. A Client may withdraw consent to the collection or disclosure of personal information at the risk of compromising the ability of Eurocentres Canada to provide the best possible academic, accommodation, social or other services to the Client. Upon the request of the Client's withdrawal of consent, Eurocentres Canada will explain the consequences of the withdrawal.
Eurocentres Canada only collects personal information that is required for it to provide educational and other services reasonably pertaining to the Client's needs and those necessary for the purposes of conducting lawful business.
Eurocentres does not use or disclose the personal information of our Clients for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the individual or as required by law. Eurocentres Canada does not sell or otherwise disclose the personal information of our Clients to third parties unless requested by the Client or if necessary to provide both affiliated and unaffiliated schools to which a student is transferring. Students who want Eurocentres Canada to provide their Agent or family members with personal information related to their program must indicate this in the Consent and Acknowledgment section on the Eurocentres Canada application form.
According to law, Eurocentres Canada must retain student information indefinitely. Eurocentres Canada retains Agent and Homestay Family information for a period of seven years following the date of last use.
Eurocentres Canada will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the personal information of our Clients shall be accurate, complete, and up-to-date as is necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used.
Eurocentres Canada will endeavor to ensure that any personal information is stored and safeguarded against unauthorized access whether it is stored physically or electronically.
Eurocentres Canada makes specific information about its policies and practices related to the management of personal information readily available to Clients upon request. Requests may be made directly to the Privacy Officer.
Upon written request, Clients are informed of the existence, use and disclosure of their personal information and shall be given access to that information. Clients are able to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended as appropriate by submitting a written request and supplying the necessary documentation.
All Clients are able to address a challenge concerning compliance with the above principles to the Privacy Officer at Eurocentres Canada. All complaints received in writing will be investigated. All appropriate measures will be taken to address and resolve the complaint within a reasonable period of time. If the Privacy Officer cannot resolve the concerns of the complainant, the issue can be referred to the office of the President of Eurocentres Canada. At any point in the process, the Client may also write to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
