Students completing these programs can earn the Eurocentres Canada Business English Diploma and will have the necessary Business English skills to compete in today's increasingly competitive global work place, thus opening the door to a world of opportunity.
Overview
Students who wish to improve their English and then continue to stay in Canada while working and earning money will find that the Work and Study Program is for them. It combines language training and paid work experience Students enrolling in the Work & Study Program will have 12, 16, 24, or 32 weeks of English language training in our Specialized Intensive or Specialized Super-Intensive Course followed by a paid work experience of equal length.

Qualifications
This program has course lengths ranging from 12 - 32 weeks with an equal length or less work placement. For example, a student enrolled in a 16-week course will have 16 weeks of English training in our Specialized Intensive Course and 16 weeks or less of a work study.
After applying for this program, students will be asked to submit a CV (resumé). Students will have a maximum of three interviews for a position with a company in their three areas of interest. Acceptance of the student for the position is at the discretion of the interviewing company and is on a pass / fail basis. Reasonable offers of placement must be accepted by the student. All Work and Study placements are within the service industry

English Plus Professional Training
The English Plus Professional Training Program provides students with the opportunity to develop their English language ability as well as take skills-based training. Through this program, students are able to improve their English while learning career enhancing skills. Upon completion of the program, students will have the language and skills training necessary to compete in today's competitive global workplace. All programs are offered jointly with our "Partners in Training" institutions. These institutions are some of Canada's most well respected public and/or private post-secondary institutions.
Course Outline
The course consists of two terms:
a) One term of Eurocentres Intensive English language training.
(Class Size: 10-14, 25 x 50 minute lessons a week, plus 5 hours self-study in the Learning Centre)
b) One term of professional training at one of our partner schools (all partner schools are post-secondary institutions).
(Class size and number of lessons per week will vary by training area selected)
12 weeks:
a) Term 1: 6 weeks Eurocentres Intensive Course
b) Term 2: 6 weeks of professional training at post-secondary institution.
20 weeks:
a) Term 1: 10 weeks of Eurocentres Intensive Course
b) Term 2: 10 weeks of professional training at post-secondary institution.
24 weeks:
a) Term 1: 12 weeks of Eurocentres Intensive Course
b) Term 2: 12 weeks of professional training at post-secondary institution
This course is designed for High School graduates who are interested in obtaining professional training and wish to do their training in English. You must be at least Eurocentres Level 6 before you start Term One of the program. Level 5 students are strongly recommended to take the 20-week or 24-week course. At the post-secondary institution itself, there is an English assessment test to see if the student's level is high enough to succeed in the course. Students not meeting the English level requirement can first take an Intensive Course at Eurocentres Vancouver.
Upon completion of the program, students will receive a Eurocentres English Certificate of Proficiency, a Eurocentres Business English Diploma, and a Certificate of Course Completion from the partner institution. Students will have the option of continuing their professional training with the partner school.
In Term One (at Eurocentres), trained, experienced instructors who specialize in teaching English will guide the student through our comprehensive language curriculum. In Term Two (at the partner school), industry-trained, experienced instructors who specialize in teaching their given subject area will lead the student through their career training.
Students who wish to extend their professional skills and knowledge in their chosen field of study are perfect candidates for work experience which combines language training and professional activity. Language in an everyday professional environment; this is the magical formula if you want to intensify your linguistic ability and simultaneously gain new professional experience. With Work Experience placement, you will get a sense of the international business environment, get to know professional colleagues from another country, extend your language and career horizons and thus improve your chances on the job market.

Qualifications and Program Notes
This program has course lengths ranging from 8 - 48 weeks with the ESL training portion of the program having to be at least half of the total course length.
Placement
After applying for this program, students will be asked to complete an internship form indicating their areas of interest and submit a CV (Resume). Students must also supply three areas of interest for their internship placement. Eurocentres Canada can not guarantee that students will be placed in their first choice of area.
Possible industries for internship placement include: tourism and recreation, banking, commerce and finance, import/export, administration, marketing, advertising, graphic design, film, forestry, manufacturing, transportation, biotech, education, office/secretarial, health care, broadcasting, media, and many others.
A customized internship program can be designed for students who enroll in our regular ESL program for a minimum duration of 4 weeks at the regular price. For a $1000 fee, students may then take a 4-week internship program in the field of their choice. Other options for an internship of greater duration are available providing the length does not exceed that of the ESL portion.
Overview
The University Success Program combines the advantages of the ideal Eurocentres learning environment with specialized, focused, academic training in a small group, with a personalized approach and an excellent nationality mix. The course consists of 30 lessons of 50 minutes per week plus five hours self-study per week in the Learning Centre.
